A PASSION FOR WRITING COMBINED WITH A DESIRE FOR SUCCESS

Kelsey Caswell’s holistic approach to technical content
Creating enriching and informative content to suit client’s needs by utilizing a creative mindset and an adaptable content style.
Writing and Editing
Documents such as Proposals, research papers, recommendations, and PR kits. AP, MLA, APA style fluent.
Continuous Education
After a B.S. in Public relations and a M.A. in Technical Communication, the prioritization of continuous education through APMP, LinkedIn Learning, and collaborative writing groups is paramount to success.
Accessibility
In a primarily digital world, there are so many different standards of accessibility. Prioritizing this allows for all content to be a step above the rest.
Visual Content Design
By consulting closely with clients, modern industry standards, and peers, all content is designed with one goal in mind. To make an impact.
AI Integration
As Artificial Intelligence becomes more integrated in the Technical Communication field, adopting AI as a tool becomes necessary in pursuit of success.
Coachability
A smart person assumes they know best, a wise person knows that they always have more to learn. By staying coachable and receptive to feedback, professional development never ends.
A Well-Rounded Person
Professional and Educational development is one thing, but having interests outside of work and school enriches life and leads to all-around success.
Wellness
Pictured is me, running the Austin-American Statesman Cap10K for the second year in a row. I shaved down my time by 45 minutes! Woohoo!
To help myself grow into a more well rounded, exciting person, I love to join communities where mental, physical, and spiritual health are encouraged.
Enriching my mental health is something that comes with filling my social calendar, joining networking communities, and prioritizing knowing who I am.
Embracing my lifetime enjoyment of running, exercise classes, and golf are ways that I prioritize my physical fitness.
Focusing on my Faith and trust in God as I enter the “adult world” has anchored me and filled me with gratitude for every opportunity that He has given me.

Travel
I took this photograph when visiting Maui, Hawai’i in 2023. This trip opened my eyes to the countless, beautiful cultures that make up the United States. Alongside my sister, I learned about the history of the island, its traditions, and cultures.
It is a goal of mine to visit all 50 states to learn about the history of each and develop an appreciation for the similarities and differences that enrich our culture and our lives.
When I eventually take my travels around the globe, I hope to bring this same culturally-minded perspective to my travels to enjoy the beauty that the world has to offer.
Community Involvement
Pictured is a flyer for a Haunted House event that I was responsible for planning and executing for my sorority. Alongside the V.P. of Philanthropy of our partner organization I was able to design the haunted house, the costumes, and the merchandise and raise over $4,000 for the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network.
While this event was a few years ago, the lessons that it has taught me about event planning, teamwork, and leadership are long lasting.
At present, I am becoming involved with local volunteer organizations and will update as I participate in more events.

is having done it.”
